We often come across many patients who require expensive investigations like CT Scans and MRIs for diagnosis of serious illnesses. Unfortunately, some of them cannot carry out the investigations because of financial constraints. The sad part is that the timely investigation could have saved them with better treatment. This initiative will help such patients by providing high end investigations free through Aster Volunteers.
How can I avail free MRI / CT Scans?
The patients who have difficulty availing the MRI/ CT service because of financial constraints are eligible for free scanning. The first step is to get a reference letter from the Doctor and book an appointment on www.asterfreein.com. in addition to the Doctor’s reference letter, we would require identity proof and income proof of the patient. For identity proof, please upload Aadhaar card/ Voter ID card. And for income proof, please upload any of the below documents.

How long will the service be available?
Aster DM Healthcare has launched this initiative during the 34th foundation day on 11th December 2020 for next one year. The last day of availing the free MRI/CT Scan would be 11the December 2021.
Can I book the service for a needy patient?
We encourage healthcare workers, social workers and other NGO’s to introduce this free service to help the poor patient who cannot afford high-end radiologic diagnosis procedures and help the needy to book an appointment.
